Charlie Rash joined PRG in 2015 as the Vice President, Operations where he is responsible for oversight and growth of the services segment of the business and managing operational excellence of the staff. He is a forward-thinking, strategic and versatile senior executive with expertise in business development, operations and marketing. Mr. Rash has successfully led and managed start-up, turn-around, and growth teams in the government products and services sector. He is noted for his ethical leadership, excellence in operational execution, strategic planning and development of talent within a culture of continuous improvement.
Following a successful career in the U.S. Army, he joined SY Technology as the Director for Military Applications and later as Group Director in L-3, SY Coleman following acquisition of SY Technology and Coleman Research by L-3 Communications.
As a Department of Army civilian during the rapid build-up of forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, Mr. Rash was asked to serve as the Acting Deputy Program Executive Officer Soldier, and was instrumental in establishing the PEO, coordinating and planning the rapid fielding initiative and standing-up the industrial base to provide the first new equipment for the Soldier since the 1960s.
Upon rejoining L-3 he managed the start-up of two populated Joint Venture companies by establishing structures, processes, policies and procedures focused on minimizing cost and maximizing profitability. After successfully establishing and doubling the growth of both companies he was selected to lead a struggling L-3 MPRI business development team and was the architect of a complete turn-around in growth and customer satisfaction.
Following the spin-off of Engility from L-3 he was selected as the Board of Directors Chairman and Managing Director of Forfeiture Support Associates (FSA), a $150M subsidiary of Engility, and Account Executive for $200M portfolio of Army programs where he excelled in establishing and managing strategic growth.
Mr. Rash graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and holds an MBA from Widener University. He is Acquisition Level III certified by the Defense Acquisition University and is a graduate of the Army War College.
